Кроме того используются двойные союзы/Correlative Conjunctions. К наиболее распространенным относятся:

either ...or: You either do your work or prepare for a trip to the office.
neither ... nor: Neither the basketball team nor the football team is doing well.
both ... and: Both the cross country team and the swimming team are doing well.
not only … but also: Not only is he handsome, but he is also brilliant.
whether ... or8: Whether you stay or you go, it's your decision.

■ В качестве двойных союзов выделяются и другие сочетания:

just as ... so: Just as many Americans love basketball, so many Canadians love ice hockey.
not … but: Summer school is not easy but difficult.
scarcely … when: I had scarcely walked in the door when I got the call and had to run right back out again.
as many … as: There are as many curtains as there are windows.
no sooner … than: I’d no sooner lie to you than strangle a puppy.
rather … than: She’d rather play the drums than sing.
such…as: I see only such movies as have good songs.
such…that: Such was the weather the whole of today that I decided to stay indoors.
the more . . . the more/the less: The more I look at that painting the more I like it.
