1. Придаточные клозы-существительные: that-клозы, wh-клозы (what, where, why и т.п.) и whether/if-клозы:

Подлежащее:

[That the driver could not control his car] was obvious.
[What caused the accident] is a complete mystery.
[Whether she likes the present] is not clear to me.

Дополнение:

We knew [that the next day would be difficult].
No one knows [what caused the accident]
I wonder [if/whether you've met him or not]

Комплемент:

The main thing is [that you're happy].
The question is [what caused the accident].
My main problem right now is [whether I should ask for another loan].

2. Прямая и косвенная речь:

Прямая речь: 'I like tennis,' Jane said.
Косвенная речь: Jane said (that) she likes tennis. Mary said she would go and heat some milk (не 'she will go...')

3. Обстоятельственные клозы

1. Места – where. wherever: You may park уour car where there is a parking sign.

2. Времени – when. whenever, after, as, before, since, until, while, as long as, as soon as: I met George Lamb when I was at school.

3. Причины – because, since as: I said it because I was angry.

4. Уступительные – although , though: Although he left his country many years ago, he still dreams of returning.

5. Цели – so that, in order that, lest, for fear (that): They shut the window, so (that) the neighbours couldn't hear the radio

6. Результата – so that: So that everyone could hear the announcement, we turned the radio up to the maximum volume.

4. Условные предложения

(0) I usually buy computer equipment if I have extra money.

(1) I will buy a new computer next month if I have some extra money.

(2) I would buy a new computer today or tomorrow if I had some extra money.

(3) I would have bought a new computer last month if I had had some extra money.
